Brandon Aiyuk, 49ers Agree To $120M Contract Extension

The San Francisco 49ers and Brandon Aiyuk have reached an agreement on a contract extension, the team announced.

Aiyuk, who had one year left on his rookie contract, signed a deal worth $120 million over four years, putting him in the elite tier of wide receivers salary such as Amon-Ra St Brown and Tyreek Hill.

This ends a months long saga that seemingly loomed over the NFL during training camp. Aiyuk publicly requested a trade, turned down more money from other teams, and maintained he wanted to stay with the 49ers.

Now Brock Purdy will get one of his favorite targets back and the 49ers can focus on a new contract for Trent Williams.
