CeeDee Lamb Contract News: Lamb, Dallas Cowboys Agree To $136M Contract Extension

CeeDee Lamb is ending his hold out with the Dallas Cowboys after signing a new contract. 

The Dallas Cowboys and CeeDee lamb came to an agreement on a new contract that will make CeeDee lamb, the second highest payed wide receiver in the league. The the four year deal is valued at $136 million, with 100 million guaranteed. It also makes CeeDee the highest paid wide receiver and Cowboys history.

Heading into 2024, Lamb was in the final year of his rookie contract and would have become a free agent after the season. He was scheduled to make $17.99 million before the new agreement that will pay him 34 million this year. He is now the second highest paid WR in the league behind Justin Jefferson.

I think CeeDee’s one of the best players in the NFL,” said Jerry Jones. “I think he’s very instrumental because of his position to quarterback success, personally. I think if you look at complementary football, he does it all there for you. He’s multifaceted in where we can line him up, the type things we can use him for. He’s dedicated in his practice and he’s sound physically. That puts him really right there at the top as far as a player. I’m trying to answer your question. I guess the answer is without saying anymore, I think he’s one of the top players in the NFL.”

In fantasy football, Lamb was the top wide receiver in half-PPR formats in 2023, with 135 receptions for 1,749 yards and 14 touchdowns.

According to Pro Football Focus (PFF), he is ranked as the fourth-best wide receiver in the NFL,  behind Justin Jefferson, Tyreek Hill, and Ja’Marr Chase. CeeDee Lamb is consistently ranked among the top five wide receivers in the league.
