Packers QB Jordan Love Injury Update: Will Miss 3-6 Weeks With MCL Sprain

Green Bay Packers QB Jordan Love is going to miss some time after sustaining an injury at the end of the week one game versus the Philadelphia Eagles.

On the third to last play of the game, Jordan Love had to be helped off the field after a high – low hit from Josh Sweat and Jaylen Carter.

The Packers, who were down 5 points at that point in the game, substituted in backup QB Malik Willis for the final two plays of the game, resulting in an incomplete pass and a sack.

Love suffered an MCL sprain and will miss 3-6 weeks, according to early estimates. Newly acquired backup QB Malik Willis is expected to be the starting quarterback during that time.

The Packers traded for the Titans third round pick during training camp. Willis was once thought to be the future of the Titans franchise, but lost out on the Titans QB job to Will Levis.

The timetable for a Jordan Love return is not definitive, as it is still early and the Packers will be seeking a second doctor’s opinion.
