Stefon Diggs Out For Year: A Blow to the Texans’ Passing Game

The Houston Texans’ offensive arsenal has taken a hit after it was revealed star wide receiver Stefon Diggs tore his ACL.

The Stefon Diggs injury occurred on a non-contact play, he grabbed his knee and would fall to the ground. Diggs was then taken back to the locker room and missed the remainder of the Texans 23-20 win over the Indianapolis Colts.

Stefon diggs Injury and Recovery Timeline

While details about Diggs injury remain limited, we do know that it is a torn ACL. As of now, there’s no official timeline for Diggs’ return, but we do know that Diggs will not be back this season.

Stefon Diggs was second on the Houston Texans in receiving with 47 receptions for 497 yards and 3 touchdowns.

“I feel really bad for him,” said Texans QB C.J. Stroud. “He was having the best time playing football in his career, that’s what he told us.”

The Texans (6-2) will go into their next game versus the Jets without their top 2 wide receivers.
